The Laba Mountain Wind Power Project has an installed capacity of 192,000 kilowatts and plans to build 60 wind turbine units. The wind turbines are distributed in the northern, middle and western sections of the main ridge of Laba Mountain along the branches of the Yalong River Valley. The Labashan Wind Power Project plans to hoist the first unit in October 2022, and all units will be put into production in September 2023.

It shows good exploration prospects and marks the newly discovered billion-ton oil and gas in the Shunbei No. 8 fault zone at the beginning of this year. According to preliminary estimates, Sinopec's resources in the region include 26 million tons of crude oil and 130 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which are of great significance to further improving energy supply capabilities and ensuring national energy security.
